Anna Bernard Ceramics & Paintings

Artist Anna Bernard was born and raised in New Orleans. Her work is a collection of organic shapes and scenes in nature.  Her inspiration comes from the lush Louisiana landscape and local traditions. Her pieces start out as wheel thrown or hand built in the studio. They are then shaped and abstracted. The materials used in her hand carved sculptures and vessels are porcelain, stoneware and transparent celadon glazes. No two creations are alike and each glaze combination is unique. Her paintings follow a similar style based on intense color, organic shapes and scenes in nature.

Anna Bernard lives and works in New Orleans.
